We’re thrilled to share that TiER1’s Anna Wolf has been named a winner in the Chief Financial Officer category of the Cincinnati Business Courier’s 2019 C-Suite Awards. The Annual C-Suite Awards Program recognizes top executives who have demonstrated outstanding professional leadership and whose company contributions have made a profound impact. Anna is one of only two winners for this award out of seven finalists.
Anna has worked at TiER1 Performance for seven years and has been a critical senior leader and advisor during her time at the company. Anna has expertly led the acquisition of eight small businesses, the restructuring of debt related to investor share repurchases, and the initiation and full execution of an ESOP transaction that transitioned TiER1 to a 100% employee-owned company.
“Anna’s leadership, astute insight, and experience has been instrumental in helping us achieve our goals in a sustainable way,” said TiER1 CEO Greg Harmeyer. “We regularly hear from our outside advisory firms that Anna leads one of the best finance teams they’ve seen.”
Members of Anna’s team said she brings out the best in her people through her standards of excellence and commitment to staying connected. Despite having a heavy personal workload, she never sees a task as beneath her notice or time.
In addition to her financial team leadership, Anna is also engaged in the larger TiER1 community. She believes in financial empowerment and regularly offers financial workshops that teach others about the principles of finance and the impact of financial decisions. This became especially critical after TiER1’s ESOP transition, which empowered employees to become company shareholders. She also serves as the Executive Sponsor of GiVE, TiER1’s internal service board.
