Beatrice’s personal vision statement is to enact social change the smartest way possible—working at TiER1 is part of that! She promotes a cross-cultural way of living, when possible! Bea is energized by human-centered problem-solving and design thinking, the most fulfilling of which have been in settings outside of the U.S. She runs outside every day, in any weather, in anticipation of the annual Straight Street Hill Climb in Clifton every November. Bea can fit her two basset hounds and a plus-one in her Mini Cooper, so park dates are a common outing for her! She comes from a family of entrepreneurs, the most exciting/addictive of which are in the coffee, beer, and bourbon businesses.
Bea kicked off the first few years of her career in social enterprise, small business, nonprofit, and worker-cooperative consulting gigs in Cincinnati and San Diego. Keeping in touch with Miami University’s Institute for Entrepreneurship through Startup and Social Innovation “hackathon” weekends, she’s been able to coach undergraduates as a graduate student and professional in areas such as food insecurity, substance abuse and recovery, and infant mortality.
Bea believes hospitality and a relentlessness to "get it right" is at the core of everything we do. If you're stewarding both of those, then you have a happy client at the end of the day.
If Bea had to pick one music genre to dance to for one year, it would be Funk & Soul.
Bea’s pipedream career goal is to own her own impact investing firm.
Bea's favorite sports are Formula 1 and rowing on the algae-infested Licking River!
