Grace loves to develop creative ways to bring clarity to big ideas with design, and she loves to tackle a challenge.
Grace most recently came from a role focused on brand design on an internal team for a large non-profit headquartered in Cincinnati. Her work there ranged from a total rebrand of the organization in 2020, to environmental LED stage design, print work, suites of design for apparel/swag, large-scale exhibit installations and environmental graphics in spaces, marketing assets, and largely focused on branding large events and collections of content.
Prior to that she worked for many years in publishing, as the design director for Cincinnati Magazine from 2007-2015, managing the art department, art-directing designers, photographers, and illustrators, as well as redesigning and bringing award-winning design to the publication every month.
Grace was responsible for rolling out the new rebrand for her entire organization in 2020, which turned out to be an even bigger challenge than she had imagined it would be. As she and her co-workers all transitioned to remote work, and her children transitioned to remote school, and the deadline for the project got moved earlier, it was a daunting task. She persevered and was able to take ground by taking one step at a time, keeping lists of ideas and what needed to be done, as well as cranking high-energy tunes, occasionally locking herself away in the basement and drawing on grit. In the end, the launch happened on time.
Grace is enthusiastic and fun to be around, full of questions and curiosity, and has an infectious laugh. When she's not designing something, she's probably making something else with her hands: gardening, baking, or watercolor.
Grace loves to go on adventures with her family, specifically camping and hiking.

Grace frequently creates graphics for her children's school events and fundraisers.
