What She’s Passionate About

Jennifer is passionate about helping leaders realize the potential of employees to activate their business strategy. Her curiosity about human behavior and the capability to learn, grow and change inspires her to approach each engagement as a unique opportunity.

What She Brings to the Table

Jennifer’s 30-year career includes 12 years in HR executive roles at Bank of America and CSX Transportation where she led talent management, talent acquisition, talent assessments, HR analytics and strategic workforce planning. Her consulting and research experience with Cornerstone, The Conference Board, and her own company, Caliber Talent Solutions, gave her the opportunity to work with primarily large enterprise level clients across many industries and countries. In those roles she has been able to provide guidance to organizational leaders who are seeking to advance their talent processes, technology, and people practices to activate strategy through people. Her career started after earning her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior, and being an Assistant Professor in the School of Business at the University of Alabama Birmingham, where she enjoyed teaching, research and collaborating with local companies.
Now at TiER1 she continues to create actionable insights and solutions for leaders to realize that the true value to the business of a workforce is inspired, connected, productive, innovative and committed to the future of the business. Jennifer provides expert guidance and best practice solutions to clients for talent strategies, skills-based talent practices, talent acquisition, onboarding, career mobility, performance/productivity optimization, employee engagement, retention, and talent analytics.

Community Partnership

Jennifer has served as a Board member for seven years for Hubbard House, a nonprofit organization that provides shelter and services to victims of domestic violence in Jacksonville, Florida. She is also passionate about organizations that empower women to overcome tremendous challenges and find their path in life.

Family Matters

Jennifer's kids are three amazing young adults, two sons and a daughter, who are successfully making their way in the world. Jennifer also has a cat, but she is really a dog person.

Values in Action

Jennifer believes in the power of being curious and encouraging others to share their ideas and perspectives. She has seen how building genuine connections– personally and professionally – can unlock new, exciting insights and knowledge.

She’s Not All Business

Jennifer started out majoring in Dance/Theater in college before she switched to Psychology, and still draws on her theater skills especially when it comes to being ‘on stage’ during her many speaking engagements. Being outdoors is where she truly feels energized including walking on the beach, swimming, biking, and kayaking.
