What He’s Passionate About

Josh is passionate about using his artistic skills to synthesize complex information into something that's easy on the eyes and engages an audience.

What He Brings to the Table

Josh is a life-long illustrator and visual storyteller – he's created sequential art for comics, designed user interfaces and logos, created illustrations for posters and apparel, and even edited video. Josh loves finding ways to apply creativity to his career. He studied Media Arts and Sciences at IUPUI and honed his fine art skills at Herron School of Art & Design.

Community Partnership

Josh has enjoyed working with kids in a creative teaching capacity. He once taught a summer video camp at a local YMCA. More recently, Josh has enjoyed being out in the open air, getting his hands in the dirt to help restore a community garden that grows fresh food to supply local food shelters.

Family Matters

Josh is thankful to share a home not only with his two daughters, Claire and Sylvia, but also with his wonderful partner, Stacia, and her daughter, Nora.

His Values in Action

There was a period of Josh’s life in which he was obsessed with making movies. Josh loved corralling a rag-tag group of friends and acquaintances into working together to make a short film. That kind of guerrilla, DIY, no-budget style of creating fostered an attitude in Josh that made him love being a part of a team and is unafraid to wear many hats when needed.

He’s Not All Business

Like any artist, Josh has a list of personal projects that are waiting to be fully realized. For him, at the top of that list is to complete an original graphic novel. Josh loves figuring out ways to tell clear stories with words and visuals. And finding ways to weave drama, suspense, and humor throughout is such a rewarding challenge for him.
