What She’s Passionate About
Kim finds fulfillment in building relationships founded on trust with both customers and colleagues.
Her Professional Experience
Kim’s career started in Human Resources and Staffing. She then worked at a nuclear shipyard for 10 years before fully transitioning into the Learning Technology space, where she has been growing her skills for the past 15-plus years. Kim is also PMP certified.
How She Makes a Difference
Kim volunteers with a Great Dane rescue organization, where she helps with fostering responsibilities, visits homes of those looking to foster or adopt, evaluates surrendered dogs, and participates in fundraisers and events to raise awareness. She and her husband Robert also own three Great Danes, one of which is being trained as a therapy dog (Denver). Once Denver completes her training, Kim is excited to take her to visit residents in nursing homes, schools where kids can practice reading to dogs, and airports to help reduce travelers’ anxiety.
Things She Can’t Live Without
Her dogs, chocolate, and music.
Fun Fact
Kim’s “happy place” is anywhere with water. She loves boating, swimming, and scuba diving.
