Michelle loves learning new things and collaborating with others to solve complex and challenging problems.
Michelle has 20 years experience in the learning and performance consulting industry. She specializes in developing eLearning solutions for learners in a wide variety of industries, from healthcare to the bulk electric power system. Over the years, she’s contributed in many different roles, including instructional design, technical writing, rapid authoring, and even a little project management.
Michelle and her husband, Robin, are high school sweethearts. They have two sons, Jack and Sam, and a rescue hound named Bacon. During the school year, you can find her and her family driving to athletic meets, standing around in extreme temperatures (both boiling heat and freezing cold), or sitting on uncomfortable bleachers in noisy gyms all over the Midwest. This may sound miserable, but Michelle and her family love every minute of it!
Michelle is a lifelong bookworm with eclectic taste. She’s discovered that audiobooks aren’t so bad, and they even motivate her to get on the treadmill! She tends to gravitate toward authors she’s read before and enjoyed, but she loves getting recommendations for new authors from fellow bibliophiles. Some of her recent favorites include The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides, Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens, and The Cormoran Strike series by J.K. Rowling.
Michelle had a brush with fame in 2012 when she and her husband watched Super Bowl XLVI with former quarterback Joe Montana. He hung out with them for the entire game, including halftime!
“I’ve learned that I’ve still got a lot to learn.”
