Mike believes in continually reinventing himself and pursuing whatever lights up his curiosity. He's passionate about encouraging others to explore new interests because developing expertise in diverse areas - from industrial design to portrait art to AI consulting - makes you incredibly valuable and keeps life engaging.

What He Brings to the Table

Mike began his career as an industrial designer with an internship at NASA and later worked in medical device design. He spent over a decade as a professional portrait artist, painting commissioned monumental scale portraits in hundreds of cities around the world. Mike transitioned to AI consulting in 2019, founding his own consultancy that specialized in helping organizations implement artificial intelligence solutions across various industries including medical records and enterprise clients. He has extensive experience deploying Large Language Models and multimodal generative AI while maintaining strict compliance with standards like HIPAA, serving businesses from small enterprises to Fortune 50 companies.

Community Partnership

Mike volunteered at a children's home throughout college and still maintains friendships with some of the kids he mentored, who are now parents.

Family Matters

Mike's wife is a nurse, and he has two daughters who are both volleyball stars. His older daughter has followed in his footsteps as an AI software developer, while his younger daughter is an accomplished pianist. They also have three dogs that require every spare bit of attention and energy the family can muster.

Fun Facts

Mike helped a friend launch a pinball manufacturing business, including writing the script for their Shark Tank pitch. The friend successfully secured a deal with Damon John, and Mike assisted with e-commerce development and other business components. It was fascinating to see the behind-the-scenes world of Shark Tank and work in an industry completely different from his usual expertise.
Mike loves building things - from race cars to woodworking to 3D printing. He also enjoys developing computer applications and writing code.
Mike enjoys flying airplanes as a licensed pilot.
