Change is a constant. Rebecca’s passionate about making change easier for people so they can thrive at work.
Rebecca has a background in the arts and has worked internally for small businesses, large corporations, and mid-sized non-profits. She holds a Masters in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University. Rebecca spent more than 10 years as a professional actor which helped her hone her imagination and ability to put herself in other people's shoes.
Rebecca’s fully committed to leaving the world better than she found it and being a good neighbor and member of her community (and the planet).
Rebecca has fostered cats and is involved with lowering the number of homeless animals through Trap, Neuter, Return. She has two high-energy and "too smart for their own good" rescue cats named Zoomy and Frannie. Zoomy is such a troublemaker, he's a regular at the ER, and is lucky Rebecca’s his "mom."
Upon discovering that English-speaking tour guides were making way more money than the Spanish-speaking boat captains on vacation, Rebecca once designed and led a pro-bono 6 week English language job skills program in a small town in Costa Rica for adults working in the tourism industry. Rebecca got to build meaningful relationships, live on the beach, and help folks earn a better income. It was one of the best experiences of her life!
Rebecca discovered a love of hiking in her 30s- being alone in the woods is one of life's great pleasures!
She’s taught several cats to perform tricks: sit, gimme five, up, off, and to jump through a hoop.
