Sarah is passionate about helping professional learners deepen, discover or re-discover their enjoyment of learning so that they can use learning opportunities to grow and evolve.
Sarah brings a unique background to her work in instructional design. From Spanish interpreting to mental health therapy, Sarah’s professional experiences prior to focusing on andragogy ultimately solidified her love of learning and reverence for the power of connection to improve outcomes. After graduating with her master's in instructional design and technology, Sarah now combines these skills and technical knowledge with her expertise in human behavior and motivation to help adult learners leverage learning and development opportunities to realize their potential and build a satisfying career.
Sarah and her partner, Seth, are lucky to have lots of family in and near Cincinnati. Sarah loves spending time with newest family member, niece Vivi who was born on New Year's Eve!
Sarah can’t live without Tara Brach meditations and saltwater.
In addition to degrees in Spanish and clinical mental health counseling, Sarah’s first degree was in English literature.
Sarah’s favorite hiking spot is Laguna 69 near Huaraz, Peru. During a study abroad trip, Sarah hiked to an incredible turquoise pool at 14,000 feet and saw the most beautiful sunrise of her life.
Sarah loves spending time with her family and friends. She connects with the world kinesthetically- through all kinds of movement-based hobbies (running, hiking, yoga, swimming), through travel, and camping/connecting with nature.
