What She’s Passionate About

Tasha is passionate about promoting patient safety and identifying and problem-solving barriers to build reliable systems which improve outcomes. She also excels in making sense of regulations and translating them in ways that resonate with frontline staff.

Her Professional Experience

With experience working as a registered nurse in emergency departments and trauma centers, Tasha is an expert in behavioral health and trauma settings. While completing her Master of Science in Nursing, she transitioned into healthcare accreditation and certification. Although her work mainly focused on the acute care realm, she also worked with post-acute entities such as hospice and long-term home health care. In addition to continual readiness, a big part of her role has been standardizing practices across the health system to reduce variations in care provided. She believes continual readiness is about more than following rules—it's about examining systematic factors that either enable to disable an organization's ability to meet expectations.

Values in Action

Tasha values having fun and strengthening relationships. She and her grandpa have exchanged gag gifts for Christmas since she was little. One year he gave her a brick with coins tapped to it; another year she gave him sandals shaped like fish. No matter where she is, she's always keeping an eye out for the perfect item.

Fun Facts

Her car's seat heater is on 365 days out of the year. It doesn't matter if it is 95 degrees or below zero—it's on. She also loves reusable tote bags because they are so useful!
