COVID-19 pandemic fueled an unprecedented rate of burnout and turnover across all industries, increasing the need for prioritization on workforce well-being. While you can’t change the external social and economic factors that influence burnout, you can enable your teams to identify the causes of burnout and adapt their behavior to mitigate these influences.

- Barbara Boyne, MBA, RN, (pictured left), leads change initiatives to improve safety, reliability, process, and profitability for organizations and hospital systems. She also spearheads our research on burnout and related consulting services.
- Tasha Bartels, MSN, RN, CPPS, is an expert in behavioral health and trauma settings and has focused her career on standardizing practices across health systems to reduce variations in care provided.
In Reducing Burnout Among Your Team, you’ll explore the science behind burnout, learn the five root causes or “igniters” of burnout, and gain tools for your team to identify and mitigate the impact of these burnout igniters in their work. This course features videos, self-assessments, and activities to guide your learning.
