TiER1 Performance, and its parent company TiER1 Impact PBC, Inc., are proud to announce its recertification as a B Corporation through 2025. This is a great honor as this certification aligns with TiER1’s mission to improve organizations through the performance of people to build a better world.
Since 2018, TiER1 Performance has been a Certified B Corporation®, joining the ranks of “better for the world” companies such as Patagonia, Ben & Jerry’s, and Hootsuite. As a B Corp, TiER1 is committed to social and environmental business practices that drive high performance, transparency, and accountability to a broad set of stakeholders.
There are more than 6,000 B Corps in 89 countries across 159 industries. B Corp Certification is a designation that a business is meeting high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency on factors ranging from employee benefits and charitable giving to supply chain practices and input materials.
Some of the factors that contribute to our B Corp status are our employee-owned stock program, high employee engagement, and commitment to the community, which includes our focus on improving mental wellness in the workplace.
To maintain certification, TiER1 also changed its legal status to a public benefit company (PBC) with the following focus: “The Corporation is formed for the purpose of, but not limited to, the specific public benefit of creating healthier, high-performing organizations where people can realize their potential and do their best work.”
In 2022, TiER1 was recognized as a B Corp Best For The World™ organization. We were named among the top 5% of B Corps in one of the five impact areas assessed: Workers. TiER1 is founded on the human-centric belief that organizations exist to serve people, not the other way around.
