TiER1 Performance is honored to have earned seven 2024 Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards in collaboration with clients Roche Diagnostics, Google, and Takeda Pharmaceuticals. These awards celebrate our commitment to innovation in Learning and Development and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion spaces. We’re looking forward to attending the HCM Conference in early 2025.

In partnership with Roche, we received top recognition in two categories for Learning and Development for the Competitive Masterclass program:
- Gold: Best Use of Blended Learning
- Silver: Best Results of a Learning Program
The Competitive Masterclass engaged more than 1,500 employees in 85 countries for 15 months in a common goal: to improve the customer buying journey through anticipating and meeting customer needs at crucial moments in that journey. They were supported by a comprehensive “Season One” learning journey that included a 10-episode video series with companion guides, webinars, and other performance support resources.
We also won a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award with Roche for Career Quest:
- Silver: Best Corporate Outreach to Promote Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging in Communities
Through a partnership between Roche and TiER1, more than 60 underserved and underrepresented BIPOC high school students took part in Career Quest, a hands-on experience engaging with careers in STEAM (science, technology engineering, arts and mathematics) through interactive learning labs. The effort was part of both organizations’ commitment to the Indy Racial Equity Pledge to create more diverse, equitable and inclusive environments in their organizations and in their communities.

People Operations and People Experience are invested in manager development by equipping managers with the capabilities they need. Expedition is a manager capability-building program designed to equip People Experience managers with the knowledge, skills, and experiences they need to lead multi-year change. This program has been designed in partnership with People Experience managers and leaders to meet managers where they are and provide a variety of ways to explore new ideas, nurture connections, and engage in development opportunities.


In partnership with Takeda, we received top recognition in two categories for Learning and Development for the Data, Digital, and Technology Ways of Working project.
- Bronze: Best Competencies and Skill Development
- Bronze: Best Unique or Innovative Learning and Development Program
The Takeda Data, Digital & Technology Ways of Working program is creating an exceptional people experience and enhancing the connected culture in approximately 20 global buildings, across 4 global hub sites by implementing new technologies that support a flexible, in-person + virtual, working model. The objective was to design and deliver comprehensive training and signature learning experiences that help Takeda employees and teams use conference room and hybrid collaboration technology effectively, maximizing the investment in technology infrastructure.
